The goal of the collaborative unPAK and Roots outreach program at College of Charleston is to share our knowledge of plant biology with the Charleston, SC community. We coordinate inquiry-based, hands-on activities that introduce students to topics they may have not previously been exposed to.
Past Projects:
Lady Cougars STEM Day 2017
Charleston County Library After School Outreach for K-5 Students
Topics have included:
“Exploring seed variation and dispersal strategies”
“The exciting world of pollination!”

I’d be interested in hearing about your outreach programs for the elementary grades. I teach fourth grade at Blessed Sacrament School.
