Overview

WHAT IS A CURE??

CURE stands for Course-based Undergraduate Research Experience.  During a CURE, students investigate research questions of interest to the broader scientific community as a part of their general coursework.  CURE research questions represent novel problems with unknown answers – and data generated during the CURE is later shared with the research community.  So basically, a CURE is not your run-of-the-mill lab project – its real research contributing to the greater collection of scientific knowledge.  For more information about CUREs, as well as other CURE projects, visit the CUREnet website.

At unPAK we are working to incorporate elements of our ongoing project in the classroom. Below you will find information about unPAK CURE projects that are currently in progress as well as an overview of past CURE projects.
